Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
These terms apply when you use TapCraft. By using it you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service.
Who we are
TapCraft is operated by Mahmoud Ahmed, a sole trader based in Alexandria, Egypt, trading as TapCraft. You can reach us at support@tapcraft.app.
What the service does
TapCraft takes a screen recording you upload and renders a device-framed 9:16 video from it, with animated touch indicators and camera movement. Rendering happens on our servers, which means your file is uploaded, processed and stored so it can be delivered back to you.
Your content stays yours
You keep all rights to the recordings you upload and the videos we render from them. You grant us only the narrow, revocable permission needed to store your file, render it, and serve the result back to you. We do not use your content to promote TapCraft, and we do not use it to train anything.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use TapCraft to:
- upload content you do not have the rights to, or that is unlawful;
- upload content depicting minors inappropriately, or non-consensual intimate imagery;
- attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service;
- resell rendering capacity as your own service.
We may suspend an account that does these things.
Plans and payment
- Free — unlimited exports at 1080 × 1920, with a visible watermark across the frame.
- Credit pack — $9.99 once — 10 exports with no watermark, up to 2K. Credits do not expire.
- Pro — $59 per year — unlimited exports with no watermark, up to 2K, music and voiceover, the Pro background palette, your own watermark wording, and priority in the render queue.
Payments are handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for every purchase: Paddle is the seller of record, appears on your receipt and card statement, and handles billing enquiries, refunds and any applicable sales tax or VAT. Pro renews yearly until you cancel; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Prices may change, but never for a period you have already paid for.
A credit is spent when an export begins. If a render fails, the credit is returned automatically.
You may not remove, obscure or crop the watermark from a free-tier export. Removing the watermark is what the paid plans are for.
Refunds
If you are not happy with TapCraft, email support@tapcraft.app within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full.
There are no conditions attached. It does not matter how many exports you have made, how many credits you have used, or why you changed your mind.
Any statutory rights you have as a consumer are in addition to this and are not affected by it.
Availability
TapCraft is provided as-is, without a guaranteed uptime. It is a small service, and rendering depends on infrastructure we do not own. We will not intentionally delete your work, but you should keep your own copy of any video that matters to you — do not treat TapCraft as your only backup.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to TapCraft is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending it
You can stop using TapCraft at any time and delete your videos from the My videos page. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. If we discontinue the service, we will give notice and refund any unused prepaid period.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. Continuing to use TapCraft after a change means you accept it. The English version is the authoritative one.
